For Silver Factory Studios #2:
"As the music-glam-fashion scene in this city meshes closer and closer together, indie rock shows are auspiciously getting more and more interesting to attend.
Please allow me to introduce Bright Lights LA, hosts of the perfect mixture of local LA music, fashion and fabulousness all over the place in and around the city from Hollywood Blvd., to the Fashion District downtown. The events they throw are usually inspired by local California artists and designers, inexpensive to attend, and some are even charity worthy, and stocked with goodie bags from American Apparel, which is awesome.
Not being the craziest of trendsetters myself (Ross for life…. haha), I must say that I’m very appreciative of Bright Light’s skill for mixing good local independent music with good local independent fashion, and throwing awesome parties at awesome venues for awesome causes. I’m not a fan of fur coats, or any fashion event hosted on the Sunset Strip for that matter, so it pleases me to see rad bands like The Nightbirds, (Eagle Rock) and Xanimo, rock out to the runway in downtown at The Silver Factory Studios.
My advice is to get friendly, and get on the Bright Lights mailing list, seeing as some events are RSVP only. Do it."

For HYPE at El Cid Hollywood:
"Last night I was lucky enough to attend a runway show at El Cid on Sunset. I had a great time and everyone was sweet as hummingbird sugar."

"Mix two parts music, one part fashion and three parts compassion and you've got Bright Lights LA -- an indie fashion/music production company aimed at getting you to shake your ass in a hot outfit, all in the name of charity. Tonight (Wednesday April 29), enjoy electro-glam duo The Polyamorous Affair, Spirit Vine and DJs Smooth Criminal and Ned Casual while you toast a drink to the runway rags from designers Frecuencia Modulada, Roadkill Jewelry, As-Is Clothing and S.O.B. Apparel. Accepting donations at the HYPE Fashion-Music charity event are Falling Whistles, whose goal is to end international child displacement and The ONE Campaign. Don't forget to pick up a gift bag on your way out, care of American Apparel and Filter Magazine. The guilt-free fashion show starts TONIGHT at 9 p.m. at El Cid and ends at 2 a.m."
"Local production company Bright Lights L.A. represents all things sexy: indie music and hot fashion. On April 29, Bright Lights L.A. is hosting the Hype Music and Fashion Charity Show at El Cid that will be sponsored by American Apparel and Filter Magazine, who will be dolling out swag bags to attendees. The show will feature music by local electro-glam duo Polyamorous Affair, and psych-rockers Spirit Vine. Two charities -- Falling Whistles (an organization raising humanitarian aid for Congo), and The ONE Campaign (Bono's thing about AIDS n' shit) -- will be on-site to collect donations and support for their causes.."

For Bright Lights, Big City at Safari Sam's:
"Beckie Lynn, the innovative force behind the Bright Lights events, along with partner Paul Avion, are killing the party scene all over Los Angeles."

"Living in the city of angels can be overwhelming with the wealth of things to experience. Well, if you find yourself asking yourself that question this week, look no further. Because the place to be this week is the Fashion Show hitting L.A. known as Bright Lights, Big City. A veritable feast of runway models, '80s fashion, punk attitude, and glorious music."

"The culture of today’s fashion has certainly taken a turn and more forward thinking apparel seems to rule the day. Everyone is looking for the next trend, but rarely are there trendsetters who bring out of the box style like Kaviar & Cigarettes. Their signature designs bring forth artsy, rock and roll glam to urbanwear for Men, Women and even babies. Take a peak at the looks from their latest runway show at the Bright Lights event that took place, December 10th in Downtown LA.
